Q: Whether we have to pay Property Tax before taking the final possession ?

Hey Parag, As far as I know you have to pay the property tax after getting the possession, if at all the builder is asking you to pay the tax I would suggest you to take advice from your legal expert.

I am yet to take the possession, builder has asked me to pay tax before taking possession.

Hi Parag, once the builder has handed over the property to you, from then you have to pay property tax.

    Hi, i have a flat in Westgate B. After endless delays they are now giving the flats for fit outs. before that they have asked me to pay all the society charges and common area maintainance charges which i am ready to pay. but in my agreement they have mentioned the maintainance charges at rs 4.75/sq ft and now they are asking me to pay @ rs 6.50/sq ft. Have other members of this building paid these charges
