Hi everyone, I read about this new scheme in an article in Commonfloor. I am sharing the link here- Property deals must be accompanied by TDS.

According to the new scheme, any person selling a property of cost above Rs 25 Lakh has to seek the prior permission of the Government.

When a seller is paying the TDS, he is disclosing the government about the sale amount of the property.
