Hike in maintenance charges.

Q: I heard Kumar Properties has hiked maintenance charges to Rs.2.50 per square feet per month across all projects. Is that true? So, a 1000 sq.ft flat will entail a maintenance of Rs.2500 pm?

I believe it was previously Rs.1/- or Rs.1.5/- p sqft. I am now being asked to pay Rs.2.50/- p sqft.

Thanks Krishnan, I am planning to book a flat and it will be highly appreciated if you can tell me what was the previous maintenance charges and why they have increased the charges.
