Delay in Handing over of old bookings..?

Q: Hi, Any updates on the completion of lotus pond..? there seems to be delay in the old bookings which are suppose to be given possesion long back..?

You can file a complaint (case) in District or State Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum. This is better than filing a civil suit. But enforcing the final award is another headache.

I had booked in Jan 2010 and as per construction agreement ,was to have been haded over by Jan 2012.There is no response to mails and telephone calls.I have relocated to Trivandrum from Chennai and feeling frustrated about attitude of VijayShanthi builders.Is there any option of Consumer redressal forum?

Hi I've bought a 3 bhk at Lotus pond , I am an NRI from Singpaore , each time I call the concerned girl in VJ shanthi , I get a stereo type reply , we are getting your flat ready and by the end of the month we will handover. This explanation is given to me , each month I have been calling them since April 2012 . Can we plz form a Grievance group of all flat owners and approach the Builders to complete the work without any further delay .......I am vidhya .... My email id :vidhu14@hotmail.com

When they finally hand over the apartment, they not only demand full money, they even force an affidavit that we have no complaint against the flat. This is only to shield their shortcoming. This affidavit will not stand scrutiny of law. But questioning it in a court of law is another headache.

Lotus pond Flats positioning Delay!!!
Lotus pond ads. say immediate positioning,but after registration waiting for one year also cannot get the correct positioning date from builders.they said 4 blks only balance,tiles and material supply issue.anybody get the positioning in these tower of lotus pond? For the delay they give any other reason or any compansation for the delay?

We are yet to see the sight of the date of handing over of the flat even after about 3.5 years of announcement of start of the project. Repeated mails to the customer care evoked no response on the delivery date. We need to pursue jointly with the developer regarding the delay.

Yes, we did....there seems to be different reasons been quoted by the site eng & office ...they are claiming that they delay is due to POwer supply issue which is been delayed by the EB department...They are claiming for safe side that we can handover the house if required in 15 days time...without lift / prpoer power connection ( temp power single phase arranged it seems) which is impossible to take possesion..right..?
