Planning to invest in Pune suburbs?

Q: Is it worth investing in Hinjewadi currently? I wish to nvest mainly in residential prop for rental income as well as appreciation. My budget is 20-25 lacs. Suggest some good locations in and around Pune. I am confused whether to go for integrated township project or a individual bldg/small project. Should I go for 1bhk or 2 bhk -which are in demand for rental?

Various areas such as Aundh, Balewadi, Baner, Bavdhan, Hinjewadi, Kothrud, Pashan, Pimple-Saudagar and Wakad are full of properties within low budget range.

Hi Very interesting insights. Thanks for your valuable inputs. I would like to add few more point in while visiting personal visit. During the visit one must check sewerage, traffic status, street lighting, security and water /power availability in the locality.

2. Thorough research before making the investment.
3. Start search online in the desired locality.
4. Compare all nearby project.
5. Visit the preferred locality/ project site.

Wakad, Moshi, Wagholi, Keshav Nagar, etc. in the suburbs have good infrastructure and is witnessing violent real estate development. There are some suburbs which are still under the administration of the Gram Panchayat.

Investing in Pune city centre seems a good option to many but how about investing in the suburbs and still enjoy the advantages of being a part of city centre?

Hi Anup, recently I have contacted few broker to know the realty trends and I came to know that the suburban localities have become a significant extension to the main city. Buyers don’t mind investing in the suburbs and travelling a bit more to their offices as they get a well-developed locality, a decent accommodation at an affordable value and an opportunity to live away from the city’s buzzing environment.
