Builder increased super area and charging nearly 2.5 lakhs more
Q: In the Ist Phase of Indiabulls green, now they are charging differnce in increased super area and charging nearly 2.5 lakhs per unit. This can't be acceptable.
Flat booked in the year 2008, then the unit area was at 990 sq.ft. At the time of agreement in the year 2010, the unit area was changed at 1050 sq.ft with a carpet area of 754 sq.ft. Now in the finishing stage of the property again they are changing super area at 1155 sq.ft with the same carpet are of 754 sq.ft. and demanding a differnce of Rs.2.5 lakhs more. This is not reasonable. This has to be withdrawn immediately.
All the flat owners must object this kind of attitude of the Builders. Pannagendran F/o Kirankumar.
sir, we have purchased a flat in A block in Indiabulls..We are residing in Trichy and we find it difficult to get any proper information from the customer care..please inform us if any resident group website is there to share all the residents common grievances, Have u done the registratiopn? I have also booked IB Greens Phase 1 completely unprofessional way of working. How can any one ask for increased Super built up area at the time of handing over that means the architect or the finance heads does not know the calculation? Is there any provision in the builder agreement to increase the the super built up area after the agreement was signed. Mine is signed in 2010 June & moreover I have booked the flat in 2008 and initially it was 990 then at the time of agreement in 2010 it become 1050 & now at the time of completion they say 1055. Kindly advice.
Who ever booked on Indiabulls are you aware that there is a Google groups for the owners of indiabulls. Please join over there. People are actively following up with IB through that group. Search for Google groups and in that search for Indiabulls greens chennai. and join the group. you will come to know lot of other issues with indiabulls.
I am also a victim of Indiabulls green chennai phase 1. they have increased the super area but while asking them they are not even replying to emails and also met chennai support people, they behave s if they are not aware of and just follow the so called company policy.
i need to draw attention (and may be need to understand):
1) when plan was approved by CMDA in 2010 april. then how they can change super buildup area now. they have not purchased or add up any new land/building. even if they have modified any, they are not disclosing the calculations.
2) if they have given the ownership of Club house (which I suppose was already added in initial calculation), they how can they charge membership fee (as they are giving up ownership)
Even i got a mail asking nearly 3.7 lacks extra. And they say based on customers demand they did that so. I am not sure who will ask for such things and i asked for clear calculation of how they arrived at that amount and they are yet to provide me that. is there a way to tackle this. do we have a common forum for all the ownerns in IB greens Phase I. Please do let me know.
