Q: Hello all the veterans of commonfloor... I have one typical question. Sorry if it is too "strange". Actually I have bought a flat in one of the buildings in Bangalore. It's a resale property and today I have come to know that recently the association of the building has made a resolution that (from sept. 1st) any one who buys a property in the building will have to pay INR 10K to the association.
I simply don't understand this, when I asked for help to the association for arranging papers regarding the building, they said we can't show the file to you as you are an outsider. and got on support what so ever. Now I plan to move to my apartment they say that I have to pay 10K first, and 10 K is joining fee for the association. It's not about the money but it's about the way they have put this up. I mean on my face they have told this. And earlier such a rule was not there. Any advice or references are thanked. Please please please...
Thanks for replies, its a resale property. And i will be fist one to pay this amount. There had been many deals this year and no body paid. What shall i do in this case? i still dont understand.
As far as I know in my apartment all the apartment owners have to pay Rs 100 as a membership fee. If you pay Rs 50 extra they will provide you with one copy of the bye-laws.
