What does 'Activation of Fit-Out' mean?

Q: I've just got a letter from Lodha about 'Activation of Fit-outs'. What does fit-outs mean? Are they giving possession or not? They also told mentioned in the letter that CAM will be charged effective 31st October 2012. How can builder charge CAM without giving possession? How can this be? How can they charge maintenance when they have not given possession?

Vikram, as far as I know, there are few charges that come under maintenance which have to be paid before taking possession itself, some 1 month ago I guess..

If they are charging maintenance then may be all facilities are ready by now.. So hopefully you can take possession shortly..

Hi Vikram, I think it means activating broadband, telephone, dish TV, such connections..
