Why is Bengal govt planning to modify rules of Urban Land Ceiling Act?

Recently govt of West Bangal has taken next step in regards to real estate market. Bengal woos investors with govt land. please have a discussion in this matter. I have read this line in newspaper so that I would like to know more about this ....

Hi Anil, It is true that govt has taken next step in real estate development.The state of West Bengal is planning to tap over one lakh acres available with the government in a bid to woo investors back to the state. this step will increase the investor sentiment and those investor who are migrating from state will again look back hear.

@ Anil I have also read this article in TOI in which what I conclude is that the government and its various departments have over one lakh acres of ready land bank, which we have decided to, give to business houses to set up industries..

Developers of Kolkata are not happy with certain rules of ULCA. They have been demanding from quite long time but govt. could not do anything in this regard. So at last the decision is made to make changes to ULCA norms..
