Building Plan,
Allotment letter,
Builder/Buyer agreement,
Completion certificate,
NOC from the builder,
Possession certificate,
Approved building plan,
conversion approval,
Certificate of Completion,
conveyance deed,
Ownership documents.
Sure Daniel, It will be better to get a lawyer involved but still do check for
sales deed Encumbrance certificate clear titles Agreements and get property registered within the time period.
If buying in a cooperative society, do check a for share certificate, lease deed, registration details, society bye laws, NOC from the society etc etc.

But few things you should know also i .e In case you purchase property from original allottee of a government development authority, i.e. DDA or MHADA, the documents you need are -Allocation letter,Allotment letter,Possession letter,Receipts of payments made to authority. You can go thorugh Documents you need while purchasing a property . Do you want to buy a resale property or fresh one?
