Yes Kauhik..i appreciate the thoughts of the Mayor of GHMC..he said that hike in property will not be a solution to improve tax collection. It will only add burden on taxpayers. He added that it would be better to bring out people who have been evading tax payment. There are also many properties in Hyderabad which are either not assessed or that are under-assessed.

No it is the same...the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation budget for 2013-14 has been approved without any hike in property tax rates. Now the residents will be happy. It was a good decision by municipal corporation. Thanks to the mayor.
