Latest Answer: Yes Kauhik..i appreciate the thoughts of the Mayor of GHMC..he said that hike in property will not be a solution to improve tax collection. It will only add burden on taxpayers. He added that it would be better to bring out people who have been evading tax payment. There are also many properties in Hyderabad which are either not assessed or that are under-assessed.
Latest Answer: @ Harmeet...The government allowed to assess government properties in Hyderabad. The commissioner was also expecting the same from the government. Issues related to cheque bounces are also into consideration. From past four years there were around 12,000 such cases identified. Around Rs 23 crore has been realized while some 2000 cases are still left. These pending cases will recover approximately Rs 7 crore.
