Q: Hi all, when the project will be completed? what are the issues with it.. please guide me if it is good to invest here.

Nagpur real estate has observed significant growth due to the Mihan project. Observing the growth, a series of residential projects were launched including Sahara City. Properties in Wardha Road have observed significant price-hikes. The rate of bookings was very high in the initial stages, but gradually it fell down.. Moreover the demand for Sahara City project fell drastically compared to other projects which were launched same time. Many buyers chose to cancel their bookings and they got the booking amount refunded with great difficulty.

2,600 residential units out of which around 1,000 have been booked. Some more bookings have been translated into agreement of sale and the final sale deed is being processed it seems. And I heard that around 1000 bookings have not been translated into sale deeds or agreements of sale.

I think they have sold units in this Sahara City project already. What are the buyers doing about this? How many units are there totally? And is there anything planned regarding the completion of the project?

The construction of Sahara City Township that began in 2007 continues to be done at a slow pace and amidst several controversies. Housing loans are not being provided by banks for buyers interested in buying property in Sahara City. Several buyers who had booked flats earlier, have cancelled their deals because of delayed possession and other issues with the project.

Hi Kamal.. I heard that Sahara City Township located in off Wardha Road, Nagpur has been facing many problems it seems.. the project is delayed, construction is left pending, no home loans available, and so on.. Buyers are very annoyed with this project.
