Regarding sale deed error

Q: Hi, I have purchased one residential plot of HUDA, gurgaon in resale. Sticker pasted in Registry has wrong spouse name. Rest of documents in tehsil, re-allotment letter etc names are correctly appearing. only on Sticker first name of spouse is wrong. Can it be corrected? How? whom to approach? please help

Mr. Jain, I think it is better to get it corrected asap.. Your spouse name has been printed wrong or the previous owners' spouse name?

If either party has found an error in the sale deed, the buyer and the seller will have to make an appearance in the sub-registrar's office, where the deed was previously registered. They will have to submit an application to the official seeking correction in the document along with all the supporting documents.
