I had executed agreement to sale in Feb and the sale deed is to be executed in 10-12 days. I had paid 5% of agreement value. Now am i supposed to pay remaining 1%

LBT on purchase of new house. Agreement and 5% paid in Feb but sale deed not executed

I would suggest you to visit the the PMC office or local ward office under whose jurisdiction your property comes and you can get all the forms and detailed procedure as per your needs.

You might have to pay one percent extra stamp duty. I confirmed it with registrar's office today. Before 1st april, it was 5% on the agreement value now it is 6% (including 1% lbt).
