Brokerage & Lawyer Charges

Q: What are the brokerage charges for buying a resale property in kharghar. Broker is asking for 2% from my side & 2% from other party. Are there any lawyer charges apart from brokerage? Broker is asking for 20k as lawyer charges.

I m not sure .. i have recently bought an apartment and have payed brokerage as well as lawyer's charges as well.. check if you get lucky and able to save your 20 k .. all the best :)

legal service is a facility provided by a broker and for all these facilities only we pay him the brokerage. You should ask him to include every thing in brokerage he is charging.

Since their is no regulatory body for real estate there is no fixed charges for the broker they ask for anything they want. you can negotiate with him on the layer charges and tell him that you are giving him 2% as a brokerage and every thing must be included in that.
