Is Surya Elevators an authorized lift manufacturer as per KSEI?

Q: The builder has installed Surya Elevators in our building and we would like to know whether it is an authorized company as per KSEI?

This is a old thread, but still want to share my bad experience with surya elevators. So far three of surya lifts have been installed in our apartment at Horamavu Bangalore. All the three lifts have been malfunctioning. The sensors don't work, the carriage does not align with the door, the door of the lift gets jammed. Worst product. The builder has opted for these lifts to increase his profit.

Very bad quality of their products and service. Frequent breakdown of the parts, sensors and even batteries going dead are to say a few of the complaints. If you have a choice, stay away from their products.

Be happy for u it same till 1year .. We just installed the surya lifts in jayanagar fr 3store building and its just been two months and having issues fr the 6th time.. Very bad expirence ...

Our Apartment in BTM layout has been fixed with Surya elevators. We have an AMC, but frequently face issues with sensors, jammed doors etc. Now the sensors are stopped working. looking for repair. And its costs a bomb to repair if sensors are gone

getting Stuck till the power is restored ,
* Pregnant Ladies having lift doors closing suddenly with full speed,
* Sensors going off,
* ALarms sounding only inside and not audible outside....etc
are just a few serious concerns among a huge list.
The Service is the next best in any service field I have ever seen.
The best thing about them (and the only one unfortunately is ) they do pick and answer your calls.
As for the issues raised, They visit the site and leave.Issues still remain as it is.Once in the meeting they just openly admitted that the lift installed doesnt have this feature.
Now since the builder has paid the complete money, they are least bothered.

This review is not the last solution we are trying, however thought of starting afresh with true reviews and experiences .
On behalf of an entire association !!!

A reply would be surprising for sure.

FOyer City Apartments, The apartments where I live is having lifts from this wonderful brand called Surya. The builder purchased 4 lifts from surya stating the reason that Surya is the Best brand among Lifts compared to Schindler,OTIS,Johnson etc .... It was said that was the most responsive at the dial of their customer care number. Whether Surya sold a defective lift to Builder or builder got a cheap lift for saving money, eitherways we are the ones who are suffering.

Well now let me start the real story. From the day of lift installation till date, there hasn't even been a couple of days the lift has functioned without any issues.
Lifts have been just an open incident for unfortunate incidents:
* Automatic nearest floor opening functionality not working, Elderly get

their service and part replacements are bad they do their job but it doesn't work for long its sheer bad service or part replacements

But the service is pathetic and they denied to make service on call basis until we sign the contract
and having already issues with the 2 lifts in 1 year itself.
