Hi all, I like Keshav Nagar which is one of the fastest developing locations of Pune's Eastern suburbs. Its proximity to Magarpatta City, city center and IT Parks has made it a lucrative hotspot for real estate developers.Social infrastructure within the locality is still developing, However, all basic facilities are available in the vicinity.

Thanks dear, As per my research over this area Vishrantwadi is also a preferred residential option due to its nearness to Yerwada Jail Road that houses several IT companies, such as TCS and IBM. Main roads connecting Vishrantwadi to other parts of the city include Dhanori Road and Tingre Nagar Road.

Very interesting insights. Can anyone tell me that which is the best location for investment for IT professionals in Pune?
Anup Soni

Hi Anup, I think apartments and villas are the popular residential options amongst IT professionals in Vishrantwadi. Located in North Pune, Vishrantwadi is a developed residential locality. The area is its proximity to prime areas, such as Viman Nagar and Kalyani Nagar.

I agree with above people that South Pune is a better Place and have access to Near by good places, but considering the current rates in Kalyaninagar, NIBM Road etc are more than 14000 rs per sq ft which is kind of to costly to invest. The North too has developed in a great scene and have nearby schools, Hospitals and many more things to explore. Baner, Balewadi, Hinjewadi, Wakad have developed in a very short span and good places to reside, and some project done by the KBD group in Baner and Balewadi are great. Due to such builder these places are in limelight these days and have become a hot topic in Pune.

They (leaving aside Undri/NIBM annexe) are very close to city center (Camp MG Road area) or appear closer as in between Cantonment area is there with less traffic. With closeness to city center, its easy access for family members to places like School, Hospital, Market etc. There is mix of population in these areas with different profession (IT, non-IT, army, business community etc). Malls and IT parks are not inside these areas (with exception of few areas). So that makes purely a residential burrough and its, I believe, is preferred by families. Distinct disadvantage is that infrastructure like Road, Power etc is bit compromised as compared to North.

South Pune (Salunkhe Vihar, Wanowrie, NIBM, Salisbury Park) has good residential projects by good builders...and good hangouts places too and reputed schools are nearby...i was always inclined towards this area. Kondhwa, Undri are coming up and even Pisoli that matter
Though, no IT parks/industry nearby , this area has significant demand and projects here are ultra luxurious and expensive...

I love South Pune ... Wanowrie, NIBM are good places to hangout, good residential places, Corinthian Club is good. And agree on the post above, South Pune also has lots of good schools close-by. Undri is a developing location in South Pune. Sorry not much familiar with North Pune, but would love to hear about it too. Cheers.
