I am also looking to buy 3 BR property? what are the top complex in Rajarhat ongoing and coming soon? I am new to property purchase. What things I should look for/careful about? Do reputed builder give any discount or offer special sale on their property?

Yes I agree with the above user that Rajarhat is the cynosure of all eyes as far as real estate market is concerned. The biggest advantage in my opinion is the proposed IT parks which is going to attract a lot of working professionals making renting out of apartments an equally lucrative option. Having said that, a lot of buyers are waiting to see how political situation in the state turns out since that is one of the biggest worries that can delay the projects in Rajarhat. Other than that, the region is going to be bigger than Salt Lake City and expect very good returns over the long term. You can also try projects by Calcutta Metropolitan Group and Shrachi Group.
