Who is to be contacted ?

Q: I am staying in a rented apartment at the penthouse. There has been water clogging in the top terrace and it has started seeping through. The swtichboard in one of the rooms has a slight current discharge. Not to mention the large patch of the roof that fell down last week. There is no CHS in this place. the house owner told us to contact the builder ( MK Group of companies, Navi Mumbai ). They have not yet taken any action in this matter. The maintanance in the apartment is already pathetic but it was has not been such a big problem. In such cases, where can we raise a concern. Is there an organization who monitors such activities ?

I would atleast like to warn others in the community about the concern and humility they have towards tenants in the building.

Hi Kasturi, After the completion of the work, it is the responsibility of the builder to take care of the maintenance for may be one or two years after that the maintenance responsibility has to be taken care of by the apartment society. I feel you should go and talk with the apartment society about the problems you are facing.
