As a local Chennai resident I think it is rare to find good roads in our city. Most of the roads are in a pathetic condition. It is high time that the authorities think in this regards. We have had to suffer for way too long now.The current infrastructure program of the city is in urgent need of reform.
Recently a news report highlighted the roads problems.The local person are fed up with the authorities, a several businessman from Maduravoyal, Koyambedu and Vanagaram had got to work themselves to repair the deplorable roads of the city. Instead of receiving any support, they were in turn arrested on the charge of disturbing peace.

These localities include Anna Nagar, Ullagaram, Puzhuthivakkam, Ram Nagar, among others. Various patchwork will destroy road quality and seriously residents of Chennai are concerned that crippling roads across the city are making their lives difficult on a day-to-day basis.
Hey guys also OMR continues to be the preferred destination because IT establishments as well as balanced mix of residential retail and schools. Water and drainage connections are also expected along this road in the next couple of years.
Attractive destination is the Velachery – Tambaram belt with areas such as Medavakkam, Vengaivsal, Selaiyur etc. These areas are parallel to OMR and have good infrastructure and are establishing themselves as an alternative to the OMR.
The year started well with very good sales in the first quarter but there was a sharp fall subsequently. Areas in and around Old Mahabalipuram Road have garnered interest because it is the hub of the IT companies in Chennai.
