Q: I am hunting for a flat from last 2 months but due to high price I could not find one in my budget. Currently, I am residing at Borivali but I am comfortable in relocating myself provided I get a good deal. Please help.

Hi, heard that the current price ranging in Mira Road is approx Rs. 6540 per sqft. The property prices are being fluctuating ups and downs in recent times. Mira Road is enjoying good demand due to its proximity to important prime centers of the city and beyond. The price appreciation of this locality in future will be very good. It is well connected by state buses and Mumbai local trains as Mira Road has a local railway station. Besides one can also hire an auto and taxi from Mira Road to reach other parts of the city.

Yes in fact nowadays the rentals and sale prices have touched sky high in recent times due to more demand in these localities. You mentioned that presently you are living in Borivali but willing to relocate if you get a good deal. May I know are you looking flats on rental basis or for outright purchase since you are not clear with your requirement. Moreover are you looking for 1,2 or 3 BHK and whats your budget. Be clear and precise about your requirements.

In my opinion you should look for flat located at Mira Road since the rates are competitive and affordable as compared to Borivali which is quite expensive. Moreover Mira Road is also well connected by road and rail means of public transport.
