PCMC region has changed into an IT hub from an industrial and low class municipality area. The locality, which was once considered unfit for residential living, is now offering competition to well-established locations of Pune such as Kothrud and Sadashiv Peth.

Because of these factors, and also because of the growth in the PCMC industrial belt, the last two years have witnessed a huge increase in demand for residential property in the Pradhikaran area.

The fact that a number of large international companies are operating in nearby Chakan has, in fact, been a primary criterion for the areas development profile.

Pradhikaran's increase in size, which has been inspired by the Chandigarh model of controlled development, began with a few hundred acres. Today, the area speaks for about 7000 acres. Pradhikaran is continually seeing infrastructural growth on all fronts including roads, water and electricity supply and digital connectivity.

Importance of Pradhikaran:- the PCNTDA began to obtain land in the PCMC area so that planned development could take place in the future. This planning included the division of specific areas for industrial activity, residential property development, public parks, unobstructed spaces, shopping malls, office spaces, roads and utilities.

The PCMC master plan also provides for lavish road widths, the interest of which are impossible present in Pune. This goes a long way in protecting one of Pradhikaran's natural elegance and hygiene.

In view of the fact that, there is no chance of oversupply, destruction of the environment or lack of necessary infrastructure. PCMC is a centre for growing residential realty demand because of the huge presence of automobile and other manufacturing industries there. There is unlimited demand for homes right from the affordable housing segment to the luxury homes segment.
