Hello. Which area is better to buy an apartment in? Perumbakkam or Sipcot OMR road?
Q: Hello, I am interested in buying a 2 bdr apartment in Chennai. After a lot of research and site visits, i have narrowed down my choices to Pristine Acres Plaza in Perumbakkam and KGS Sunny side in SIPCOT, Siruseri OMR. The dilemma is which is a better area to invest in? OMR or Perumbakkam? Perumbakkam is a developing area but Siruseri is a better developed locality with good connectivity to OMR. Please give me your inputs to help me make a decision.

* Best inside SIPCOT and right after Steria and before TCS. * Road should be fine as maintained by SIPCOT * Rental demand should be decent as stone throw away from major companies. *Well connected infrastructure with buses plying continuously outside SIPCOT at a 5 to 10 min walk. *KGS claims sunnyside to be DTCP approved.
Guys...Pristine Acres is located in 40 Feet Link Road, Nookampalayam Main Road, Perumbakkam. The 2bhk price would be around 38 lakhs onwards for 920 - 973 sq.ft. The price per sq ft would be Rs 3,900. The completion dtae is expected to be by Dec 2015. All the facilities like school, mall, market, bank and ATM are available in this locality. Transport facility is also very good in this locality.
KGS Sunnyside is located in Siruseri. Siruseri is a good location in Chennai. It is an ideal location for all kinds of people who cares his family and works in IT and Sipcot. Surrounded by lakes and green country. You can reach from Sipcot IT park to Siruseri in 5 Minutes drive ( 4 km ) distance. All the facilities like school, mall, market, bank and ATM are available in this locality. The price per sq ft is around Rs 3,999.
For investment purpose I think Siruseri would be more good than Perumbakkam because of its locality and connectivity to different parts of the city.
How is the connectivity in this area ?? Even I think OMR is better area to invest. Siruseri is a better developed locality with good connectivity to OMR. ..
Hey Chayadevi, the value of residential properties is high in OMR with the upcoming IT hubs nearby. So I would suggest you it would be good if you are going for OMR and Perumbakkam. More than three colleges are present near high streets and malls. Hospitals are located nearby. Traffic lights are well spread and there are a few traffic choking points.
Excellent local and international schools are in the surroundings. Medical facilities are in reach. Traffic is little more but the roads are good. The natural water is hard water, so most of the apartment communities are getting water from outside by lorries.
Also it is just 2 Km from Siruseri It Sipcot, It is just 20 minutes-drives from Tidel Park. Just 10 minutes-drives from Infosys-Sholinganallur.
