NO WATER ARRANGEMENT BY BUILDER!

Q: HOW does a Builder, manage to sell flats with Iconic branding and still not give WATER to his residents, yet boast about "BUILD FOR MORE'?
MORE...Expenses?
MORE.... Trouble?
MORE... DISCOMFORT TO RESIDENTS?
MORE...loss of faith of Investors?
MORE.... casual attitude, once he has got his money!

From your query it appears that the builder did provide the provision of water exploration from the bore well but may be due to receding ground water level not enough water is pumped out.

if that so then the builder cannot be held guilty for deficiency for service.

In that situation it is the primary duty of the local authority-the Gram Panchayat here to supply potable water.

since it defaults in discharging its public duty you can file a writ petition in high court agaisnt the inaction of the instrumentality of the state so the uninterrupted water supply can be restored.

Dear Residents of Sapphire Park,
Are u not getting water at all. Wasn't this water issue sorted out at the initial stage itself with the builder. Doesn't the flats have municipal connection also. What about the bore water available. What you can do is call up the builder and fix an appoint with him and have a society meeting in the presence of all the residents and try to find a suitable solution for water problems.

Dear Rohit, do you think it is that simple and straight forward.
We, the 150 residents have had meetinga with the builders representative and as usual the answers are vague and not relevant to the problem!
When u build a project does'nt the builder sell the project with an understanding that water will be provided? What is the point now telling us and blaming it on the PMC.
When your (builders) building plans are not passed, does'nt he strive and get it passed? Then why can not he do that after taking monies from 150 flat holders?
And add to that, the iconic Mr. Sachin Tendulkar also has a flat here!
Thank you Rohit. Hope all the residents, whereever they are in the world will respond and get things straight.
