The three main reason for a single women to buy a house are as follows: 1) wanting small space or needing more space, 2) relocate closer to family and job and 3) a strong desire to own her own home.
Such trend is seen in the metropolitan cities and big cities like, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai. These metropolitan cities are being the largest provider of jobs for single women migrating and getting a house for themselves.
I agree with you. Even the extension cities of the booming metro cities like, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Jaipur, Kochi, Indore, Coimbatore, Mysore, Raipur etc. are witnessing this trend.
Those days are gone when only men use to invest in real estate market. Now there is a growth of single women in the residential space and they constitute the second biggest group of home buyers in India. Cheers!!!
Single women buyers before buying a property always check the price of the property, a great location, a property that is in good condition, safety and security and a home that is rentable.
To lure the single women buyers, developers are featuring on larger closets, yard which require little or no maintenance and Gourmet kitchen. Developers are investing into Gated communities, attached garage and installing home security.
Before buying a property please find out the applicable stamp duty charges that are applicable for a woman tax payer and only then decide whether you want to invest or not in the name of the woman tax payer.
I heard that the stamp duty payment for female tax payer in many states of India is lower and this is the biggest advantage which is available to the woman tax payer. :) :D
