Query regarding khata

Q: I am buying a resale property and the property is located near 21st Km kanakapura road , Udaipura and the project is called Soudhamini and comes under the jurisdiction of sub-registrar office banashankari

Currently the property is registered in owner's name doesn't have khata in her name
Can i go ahead with the registration of the property in my name and do the formality of khata later on and if not is there a work around

can you elaborate more on tax paid receipt? which tax are you talking about?

I am talking about Property Tax. Are you going for a home loan? Apply for a home loan, take it or not is your choice but applying will help you in completing your papers as banks do a good due diligence before approving a home loan.

As far as I know Soudhamini is approved by BMRDA layouts and you can take home loan from banks for this project.

E khata, khata in computerised format is mandatory and it takes a day to get it from panchayat office. Before hand Khata was given in hand written ( form 9 and 11) now this should be issued in electronic form where site photo and owner's photo are mandatory. E Khata will be issued with digital signature.

Documents required for applying E Khata are: Identity proof, BMRDA approved plan, sale deed, site release order, tax paid receipt, owner's photo, old Khata, site photo. This is for properties coming under BMRDA jurisdiction.
