Hey, Aasthi is the property tax that is levied on immovable property by the Mysore City Corporation. According to the Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, property tax remains constant for three years, then increases by 15%. So all you have to do is pay the same amount for three years, then increase it by 15%, and pay that amount for next three years and so on. You can also go to the zonal office to get it calculated by paying an extra Rs 25 to Rs 50. That is unnecessary as you can do it by yourself.

Yeah, you can pay the Aasthi tax or the property tax from the mysorecity website. You will have to enter a lot of details, so be prepared with all the necessary information, like ward number of the property, address of property and name of the owner. Other than this, there is a section, which requires further property details. You have to enter the property type, the property dimensions and if it’s a building, then further information about the building itself, like number of floors in the building, date of construction, whether self-occupied or rented out and so on.

Hey, Aasthi tax is basically the property tax that you have to pay if you own property in Mysore. You can calculate it directly from the MCC website by registering yourself on it.
There is a tax calculator on the website. You will have to enter information like the address of your property, your name, and other property details like property type, property dimension, and so on. Enter all these details and click on submit and you will get to know your property tax.
You can also calculate it on your own by adding the total amount of property tax paid the previous year to the solid waste management (SWM) cess of previous year.
