Hello
I am in the similar situation, I wanted to buy the bit of land behind my home so I contacted an agent, he is asking 1.5 lakhs bribe which is too high for me to pay. Can you please tell the actual procedure so that I can do it by my own.

If you want to buy a Bit of Land then you have to visit your nearby Sub-Registrar Office and ask for the process. I am sure, you will get all the information from there only. Thanks

Yes, in February 2017 the Mysore Urban Development Authority has approved it. Accordingly, the price of Bit of Land at the front or back or in-between intermediary sites will be based on the guidance value for the particular locality stipulated by the sub-registrar office while the price of Bit Of Land adjoining corner sites will be 50 percent above the guidance value stipulated by the sub-registrar office for that particular locality.

Apart from that, the price of bit of land adjoining Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Low Income Group (LIG) houses will be 25 percent above the guidance value stipulated by the Sub-Registrar Office for the particular locality.

The price of a bit of land adjoining industrial sites will be the same as the guidance value stipulated by the Sub-Registrar Office, the price of civic amenities sites will be the same as that of the current price and the price of a bit of land along the roads that are over 50 ft wide will be double the current price stipulated by the Sub-Registrar Office.

Hello Raj
Do you know that last year MUDA has revised prices of Bit Of Land near your house and it will cost you very less?
The Bit Of Land adjoining your residential sites will now be alloted to site and house owners at one-and-a-half times the price stipulated by the Sub-Registrar Office. This reduction will benefit thousands of site owners who came from lower and middle-class families who have so far backtracked from buying the land, though it was adjacent to their properties.
