I am thinking of buying a 2 bhk apartment and put it for rent for some years and then use the flat for ourselves. Which locality will be good in Bangalore?
For you Hosa Road will be best. 2BHK units are in the range of 850-1250 sq ft and can cost you Rs 20-40 lakhs. Prices may vary because of differences in size, make, location and quality of construction. Even you will find it easy to get tenants in this locality because of the proximity and connectivity.
Hosa Road connects Sarjapura Road to Electronic City, Phase 1. It is subject to peak traffic problems, drainage issues, pending road repair works and litter. But the investors are still investing in this area.
Hello Miganka,
Two Bhk is pretty much in demand because people like to take 2BHK for rent and this is easily resold!!..
But the area matters like in city anyday but since traffic is too hectic it is better to invest in fast growing areas like for example Whitefield, One among the fastest growing area in Banaglore many residential properties are also coming up. and even Koramangala!!.. but i prefer whitefield.
I recently went to see a apartment in Whitefield and they are pretty good. Saw the apartment and the quality is also worth apreciation.
best part is they have lake view partments also..:) which is dificult to get in bangalore
It is not that lake view apartments are not available but those kind of apartments get sold out very fast. How much they are quoting for lake view apartments?
Areas like JP Nagar and Whitefield has seen a steady increase of 3% each and areas Bannerghatta Road, Hebbal and RT Nagar recorded a nominal 2 % increase in property value. Areas which are close to IT Hub like HSR layout, Electronic City, CV Raman Nagar, Silk Board and Bellandur has not seen much changes in property prices.
In Bangalore real estate market, the demand for 2 and 3 bhk apartment is more but the demand for 2 bhk apartments registered a demand of 54% which is equal to the supply in the market.
In January-March 2014, there was a perfect demand and supply for 2 bhk apartments in Bangalore in the budget range of Rs 40-60 lakh at around 28 per cent.
from me experience in tring to rent and buy a flat in last months, I can say there is good demand for 2BHK flats. Wherever I tried to rent a 2BHK I was told its just been rented off, same story when trying to buy apartments - the 2BHKs sell out first. The advantage of 2BHK apt. in a large complex is that for a relatively small price (either rent or sale) you can enjoy the common facilities and ameneties of the complex. And people always want to pay lesser rent, so a 2BHK will be first to go compared to 3BHK...
