Hello Krishna,
Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor also known as NICE Corridor, it is a 111 km long proposed four to six-lane private tolled expressway that intends to connect Bangalore and Mysore. It is expected to get commissioned by March 2016.

Thanks shree for your valuable information. I think Mysore is expected to pick-up pace just like Mumbai-Pune Expressway, which reduced the travel time between these cities to two hours. This not only resulted in development of infrastructure but created a lot of job opportunities in Pune. A similar story is expected to recur in Mysore.

What are the Major infrastructure projects development going in Mysore? suggest few project in the range of 30 lakh for investment?

As per my own research I think Mysore is a growing city and most of the development till date has happened around the Ring Road, which caters to the housing needs of numerous buyers. Large chunks of vacant land available across the road along with a well intact infrastructure has grabbed the attention of renowned builders as well.

Major infrastructure project in the Mysore come up in the Outer Ring Road which has already impacted city's realty, other developments such as Film City, NICE Corridor, proposed broad-gauge railway line between Bangalore and Mysore and upgradation of Mysore Airport are expected to influence it further.

Absolutely agree!!
As per Mysore plan expansion of the Mysore, Airport will definitely boost the realty market in Mysore. In addition to this, the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) plans to develop a Film City, an International Convention Center and tourism facilities (hotels) near the airport. All this will give a major boost to Mysore real estate market especially the areas surrounding the airport.

Yes, the expansion of the Bangalore-Mysore highway is much needed. During most weekends and holidays the road feels more like a road in the city, rather than a highway. There are also plans to expand the Mysore-Kollegal highway into a four lane road. The widening of the 27km road will be done by 2016. The new Central government have plans to add a hi-speed railway line from Bangalore-Mysore, I think this will help Mysore city a lot because the travel time will reduce from 2 and a half hours to around 30 minutes. There are already many people who travel from Mysore to Bangalore for work, if this line comes up more people may move to Mysore.

Yes, there are actually quite a few infrastructure projects which will come up in the future. One much needed project that will be taken up soon is the widening of the Bangalore-Mysore highway. The highway is known for crazy traffic during weekends and holidays because the road is not only for travelling between the two cities, but also for travelling to tourist places like Ooty and Bandipur. The road will be expanded to six lanes from the current four lanes.
