I heard that they are bringing in some Japanese organization to help with the traffic management system in Mysore. Its called JICA. Japan International Cooperation Agency. They apparently studied the road traffic in the city and trying to find a solution for not just Chamrajpuram but the whole city as well

I hope you know that the Chamrajapuram - Mysore Palace route is pathetic during peak office transit hour. But I think our CM seems hopeful about improving the situation soon. He recently inaugurated the M-TRAC (Mysore Traffic Improvement Programme) no?

I think it is surprising that the price in this area hasn't increased drastically like other areas in Mysore. But, it's good that the prices are less because the locality is a very good locality in Mysore. There are not only residential houses, but even several schools, hospitals and colleges in the locality. Ravi Diagnostic Center and Apollo BGS Hospital are two hospitals in the area, Sri Raghavendra Gurukula Vidyapeeta and Pramati School are schools in the locality. Slowly a few IT companies have set up their offices also in this area.

Yea, I think you can invest in Kuvempu Nagar and expect the prices of real estate property in the area to increase in the future. The locality is very close to the main part of Mysore, and it will take hardly 5-10 minutes to travel there. The locality is fast turning into a posh neighbourhood of Mysore which has many amenities and facilities nearby. Although this area has become kind of a posh area, the prices of property in the area are still pretty affordable for many people. Because of the Mananthavadi Road and the JLB Road running near the area, Kuvempu Nagar has good connectivity with the rest of Mysore city.

Even I feel that this will be a prosperous locality in the future. There are many schools, banks, parks, restaurants, and shopping complexes located in the area. The Mysore Tennis Court and the Civil Court are located in the area. You can buy an apartment in the area, but if you plan to build a house, there are many empty plots which are still available in the locality. You can buy properties like Sankalp Vishnu, Pratham Panchami, and Sankalp Prabhu in Chamrajpuram. If you want to rent a house in the area, a 2BHK house rent will be between Rs. 6000 and Rs. 8000 per month.

The Chamrajpuram locality can be potentially a major residential area in the future. The locality is present close to the main part of Mysore, and is connected well to all major localities in Mysore. The area has a railway station but only passenger trains stop at this station. The area also has many buses and autorickshaws which run on this road. The area has reasonably good infrastructure facilities, and also has some hospitals and schools. Because the area is located in a growing region, there are many neighbouring localities which are well developed, which is good for the growth of this locality.
