I bought an apartment in the Fairmont Project and I am really happy with the construction quality and also maintenance of the apartment. It was maintained extremely well . I must say it has all amenities to give comfortable and modern lifestyle.
Hi Guys, I got flats from VGN builders 4 years back, after me, I recommended a flat for my brother and last year for my friend.Till now we get a wonderful response from the builder regarding any maintenance or service issue.They do business in and around Chennai only & their strength is the building quality and the service.Even after four years now we get service from them.Not only me everyone in my flats is very much satisfied.
during this floods VGN fairmont is severly flooded. Water was there upto nearly 15 feet height. Good luck to those who all booked. Project is on the banks of adyar river. VGN did not mention about adyar river anywhere in the ads or brochure. when built all the basements will be submerged and all the cars will become useless. Water will reach the second floor of the entire project. no wonder even if the enitire building sinks due to pathetic track record of vgn construction. god bless those who booked here.
The project will go through delays & will take atleast 7 years to complete. 1st few blocks will take 4 years since project is in the city. If a customer buys 70 lac apartment the home loan interest alone till handover will be around 15 to 17 lakhs, which means additonal Rs 1200 to 1400 for a square feet. what ever the returns project delivers will be eaten by the interest . VGN will lie saying they will handover the project in 3 years, then why huge delays in their current projects. These kind of flats should be brought from Ceebros or Akshaya who willdo good job. VGN is know for pathetic quality which is very evident from from the projects they have built so far. Who ever i talk in chennai are giving poor opinion about VGN. Jus type VGN complaints or VGN cheating you will find lot of negative and poor opnions about VGN. To counter this VGN is posting positive news about themselves through their staff. Who ever bought apartments form VGN are suffering. Better avoid this builder.
Hi I think you are right project is taking long long time and builder is not giving the exact position of development. when we are asking for the possession they are give 2 3 date . not giving more information.
Positive opinions abt this project are posted by VGN in the name of Vivek Kulkarni. There are lot of disputes in the project. There are complaints about VGN saying they have illegally encroached adyar river. The place will stink heavily and is droused with mosquitoes. Has corporation driven all mosquitoes in other areas?A apartment here will be a lifetime punishment for customers. See the fate of Platina and Krona customers who are suffering with pathetic quality construction along with deviations and violations. VGN does not have any experience in construction and they have not built any project properly till now. Visit their old projects and talk to the flat owners there, they will spit about VGN. Even if VGN gets approval for this project using their influence , there will be court cases and stay orders due to corruption by Govt officials while selling this land. VGN has debt of around 1000 crores and all the customers money will be used to pay intrest and debt.

VGN has a history of poor quality construction and arrogant dealing with customers. They have cheated 672 families in their platina at ambattur project by building 2 lakh sq.ft outside approval and they have not got approval for STP. Hi venkat, see mosquitos are a very common problem in chennai and it will not effect with ongoing project . I spoke with the builder and he said municipality is taking care of these issue and in coming day it will be resolved.
Have you verified whether VGN has got all relevant documents. The proposed site seems to be industrial land, not sure how its used for residential purpose.
@Jackie: Guindy is very well located place at Chennai. It near by Industrial Estates, Educational Institutions, Universities, Star Hotels, High Tech I T Parks and MNC Hospitals surrounded by it. It is linked by various routes to the center of the city in South Chennai.

@Jackie: Units such as 2bhk and 3bhk is available. The price for for 2bhk would be Rs. 41.40L - Rs. 78L for 1200 sq ft, for 3bhk it would be Rs. 1.11Cr for 1721 sq.ft.
Hey Pavan, this project is located in Guindy. uindy is very well located at the center of the city at Chennai. It is very close to Star Hotels, hospitals, shopping centers, office complexes, railway station, metro railway station, bus stand and race course. It is surrounded by many international schools, colleges and universities. Entertainment, industrial, residential educational, commercial complex, transportation like, Mafusal and city buses etc.
