Hey, Due care needs to be take while building and hope DDA will have toilets and kitchens with hand-rails, and the floors should be well- lit so that the elderly can walk about at night without getting hurt. it also should be within a affordable range otherwise the purpose will be lost
yeah, even i read that the DDA has a proposal to make a big housing project for the elderly built with government participation. It is expected to be in 24 acres land at Rohini. Some 4,500 one-room flats will be constructed that can be rented to the elderly with common kitchens, canteens, medical and recreational facilities.
Hmmm.. the plan is to provide rooms on rent to 60+ people for their lifetime. Upon an allottee's death, the next person in the waiting list will get the room and this list will be updated yearly.
this project is very nce and should be made as soon as possible..i read that this will be ready in 3 years time and will have all facilities to cater to the age and medical needs of the residents
