Hi, as of late there have been many problems related to these issues in the locality of Amitesh Nagar. I am a resident here so I can give you first hand experience of the irresponsible work by the Indore Municipal corporation in this area. There is first of all a large garbage bin that has been placed right in front of the area’s most prominent school, and this is so risky considering the epidemic that can spread among inhabitants as well as school-goers. Apart from this, there is also drainage lines near the area that are choked and treated negligently for so many months now.
Hello there! Yes, Amitesh nagar has immense problems in terms of garbage disposal and drainage. Choked drains is posing as hazardous to health and this is worse when the water supply is getting mixed with the drain filth. Complaints have been registered to the corporation countless times but there has been no action or even response whatsoever. This is especially frustrating because the sweepers in this area collect garbage from all the areas and throw it right outside the main gate. This makes the whole road stink and you cant even have a pleasant morning walk.
The problems with waste disposal in Amitesh nagar locality are worsened during the current season of monsoon. This is because the huge mass of garbage that generally lies to the side of the road is moved to the center of the square making matters much more unbearable. I think it is absolutely pathetic that even though there are garbage bins there is heaps of garbage lying all along the road, and this is fast making Indore one of the dirtiest places to live in. Very very shameful indeed.
