Q: Hey guys I might be moving to Mysore soon and I need some quick real estate info. What's the maximum demand for? What property type? Why? Are there any major problems faced by property owners in Mysore?
Bangalore already has overpopulation. That's why many people are now interested in investing in Mysore. Now that Bangalore-Mysore connectivity has improved to a large extent with railway doubling track, Mysore is gaining realty potential.
The problem is really not as bad now though. Mysore corporation undertook serious works to replace old pipes with new pipes and expand on their infra facilities.
Lot of NGO's have protested against this shortness of space and lack of civic facilities. As of right now the sewage drains and water supply lines is built for an independent unit. If 20 to 30 units come up in a place where facilities are built for 2 to 3 units, obviously there will be major issues.
Sad thing is that high rise apartment buildings are coming up in old parts of Mysore as well as new residential layouts and both these areas are lacking in infra facilities to cater to the needs of all these residents.
The thing is in Mysore, maximum demand is actually for independent houses but as suddenly there is influx of many peoples, apartments is the most widely used property type.
