Yes, Im afraid he’s right. And from what Ive heard, the GHMC has already started the structural evaluation process. They are saying that once the construction work commences it will be finished in a year, but I think that with land acquisition on such a big scale is bound to stir up some conflicts. It will probably take more than a year. Other than these two, another RuB has been planned in the Uttamnagar area in Malkajgiri. Overall it will be a good place to buy a house in. Especially after the metro station in Mettugoda is completed; that will be just 2km away from this locality.

Yes, those bridges are definitely getting built. The tenders for the constructions have been floated already. Now the only thing left to do is to finalise on a builder. It was supposed to be done by November last year, I don’t know if it has been done yet. Plans are to make both these RuBs around 30m long and 4 lanes wide. The budget for these bridges is Rs 27 crore and Rs 32.5 crore respectively. There has to be some massive land acquisition I’m afraid, around a total of 40 structures are liable to get affected by this.

Yes yes, you’re right actually. Two new road under bridges have been planned already in Malkajgiri. They are going to be built in East Anandbagh and Vajpai Nagar. Actually the traffic situation was getting totally out of hand, especially near the railway crossing. Thing is that the rail traffic has already increased rapidly, so these gates need to be closed frequently, which causes these long traffic congestions. The residents suffered the most, as they would be stuck here for long times. With the construction of these two RuBs, I hope the situation will improve.

I’ll say that its a good call. The locality is good, residential and convenient. One of the good things about this locality is that you will always find something to fit your budget. In fact it has some major infrastructure projects in the wings, which is definitely going to increase its levels of convenience. I think there are some bridges or flyovers that have been planned in this area. I’m not really sure, can someone provide some more details please?
