Problem is that even though the CM had urged the private companies throughout the city to declare a holiday on aug 19, none of them did, and i had to miss the survey.
Dont worry, for such people their family members can give a declaration on behalf of them. Even for people working in the medical profession, police department, media houses etc.
Other than this, I think they've devised a foolproof system to avoid any wrong information. The enumerator will first check all the docs, and then only fill in the form. The owner will just have to verify all the details and sign it.
If its for the families that seek state benefits schemes, then I think that officials should identify those families and then collect the required documents from them.
Also do you guys know that no acknowledgement slip will be given to us. Only a sticker pasted outside our house will be proof that the officials had visited that particular house.
I dont understand this though. Im a bit wary of providing all these personal details. When the govt already has Aadhaar and ration card database, why do we need to give identification details once again?
Yes I saw that the GHMC have added to extra questions about property tax number and water tax connection, and this is especially for the city people. There is an option to tick NO, if not applicable.
Actually the four-page proforma for the Intensive Housing Survey 2014 as uploaded on the official website of the Telangana State, is slightly different from the check-slip issued by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
