Purchased a 2BHK apartment in Meadows Shantigram

Q: I purchased a 2BHK apartment in Meadows Shantigram by Adani in Ahmedabad at the rate of Rs.2,650/ sq ft and if I exit now, I am losing money. Builder is selling same unit at the rate of Rs. 3,450/ sq ft but in the resale market value is coming only Rs. 2900 to Rs. 3000/ sq ft. I am very much confused on what to do. Can you please provide me expert opinion? What is future of this property?

Yeah I really want to exit from this project. Can you please share the name of the projects?

1) Godrej Garden City: The project will have over 13,000 apartments and villas surrounded by schools, colleges, playgrounds, malls, entertainment centres, hospitals, office spaces and a lot more. The master plan for the Garden City township project has been created by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM). The Garden City project is located just off SG Highway in Ahmedabad. The project is within Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) limits.

2) Savvy Swaraj Sports Living: It is designed to inspire a trendy, modern and health-oriented lifestyle while grooming the next generation of sportspersons in an idyllic and environmentally and socially responsible lifescape. It has excellent connectivity to major arterial roads and railways, and is also near healthy, mixed use developments in surrounding areas like Gota and Chandkheda.Airport is around 12-13 km, Railway Station is around 4-5 km and metro is also proposed

Hi Vikash, I am not very sure as to when you entered this project. We are assuming that you have entered into this project say 2 years ago, then it will be good to exit at loss and invest in other projects at better locations. The problem with this project is its location, which is perceived very far from the city. Thus, it will take about 2-4 years to appreciate. But if you are planning to exist I can recommend you two projects
