MUDA building satellite townships around Mysore

The project has not yet been launched despote the fund allocation. The problem seems to be the lack of investor interest in it.

Yes and the MUDA has already allotted the funds from the budget surplus for the development of the housing projects. But the problem is that this project has been stuck in the works for quite a long time now. I hope things get better

Every other day some new project is being launched here. And after the saturation of Bangalore, I think most of these IT companies are targetiing Mysore next. There is a dire need of expanding those limits to accomodate the population surge.

The satellite township project has emerged because of the oversaturation of the city of Mysore. The city is continuously expanding because of the heavy density population within the limits.

Yes for the town at Ballahalli the land earmarked is 485 Acres and for that in Kochnahalli 500 Acres has been set aside for the satellite township project.

Both these villages lie in Varuna Hobli, and the MUDA has already earmarked land for both the satellite towns.

Yes they have definitely planned those satellite towns. I think most probabaly they were in the villages of Ballahalli and Kochanahalli. This is under the city expansion program.

Actually yes. The MUDA has a surplus budget amount, which they are investing to expand the city limits.
