A survey of DDA-administered land, conducted for the first time, has found 5,484 acres of vacant land in the city. Three month ago it was around 1242 acres. The survey covered plots under various land uses-residential, commercial, industrial and recreational.
In my point of view, this is really a nice step taken by DDA. Effective monitoring & saving plot/land from encroachment is their main agenda. But what about those plots under litigation ? What they are going to do? Is there any solution to that issue ?
Yes Mr Mathur, I got to know that, DDA has also found out that 298 acres of its land are under litigation. The survey was conducted with the help of National Productivity Council and Geo spatial Data Limited. This step taken by DDA to save plots from encroachment. We hope this initiatives will be more effective......
