Some of its neighbouring areas are Kulgaon, Belavali and Katrap. The town was famous for its rich horse breeds.Badlapur East is well-connected via roads through the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. NMMT buses are available from Badlapur East to Vashi & CBD Belapur.The neighbourhood is served by fast trains and it takes approximately 1.23 hours from Mumbai (CST) to reach Badlapur. By slow train, it takes 1.50 hours from Mumbai (CST) to Badlapur.

Panvelkar Bhoomi by Panvelkar Group strategically located at upper Gandhi Chowk, near Essar Petrol Pump, Badlapur East. This project is still under construction.

Other project by the developer in the nearby locality are Panvelkar Vellozia, Panvelkar Aqua Marine, Panvelkar Classic, Panvelkar Sankul, Panvelkar Heights etc.
