Information about the new infrastructure development plan for Mysore

Q: Hey there, I heard that there is an Action Plan that is taken by the govt bodies for the Mysore city. Can anyone explain what it is actually?

I came to know that there has been many rounds of meeting of the MUDA and they have planned to give around 42 lakh per acre to those people who have approached the court for getting more compensation. but, actually, i think this payment will be done in three equal instalments before July 2015.

oh, so according to this, the mysore urban development authority can save some money, right. They do not have to pay for the advocates as well as save some time that would have been spent for hearing. The new roads and other developments that has been proposed is said to start as soon as the settling of disputes is over. But there are many people are expecting good real estate turnovers in mysore area after the development work is finished.

hey, the mysore urban development authority had to pay at least 652.58 crore as per the order of the civil court. but now, recently it was in the news that they have to pay only 257.04 crores. This decision was as per the direction of District Legal Service Authority.

yup, there will be protests. but, as for now, the things are being discussed and the Mysore Urban Development Authority said that the adequate compensation will be given to the owners of land that will be acquired for the layout, especially at many villages that are adjacent to the mysore city. MUDA has also taken several measures to settle the disputes without causing much protest from the side of the land owners.

See, the Mysore Urban Development Authority has given the nod for the action plan but excludes the works that are taken up by the Mysore City Corporation. This development plan will be executed by acquiring the land of the farmers. I think there will be a great protest by the farmers as well as others whose land are being acquired.

Yeah, the latest action plan has proposed the construction of new roads, drains, development of lakes and parks, upgradation of the crematoriums and playgrounds as well as the development scheme for villages that are lying adjacent to the city. This good initiative will have a very good impact on the real estate of the city areas as well as the adjecent villages.

Sure!! The new action plan is an initiative of the Mysore Urban Development Authority or the MUDA for the development of the city. Recently, the MUDA has approved an action plan of Rupees 371 crores for the year 2014-'15. This action plan is towards the development of infrastructure and other facilities in the city.
