Annur is a peaceful place in the suburbs. But, when it comes to dacoity and burglary, Annur is badly reputed. There are many cases of theft, burglary and dacoity from Annur. Some other problems like bad roads filled with potholes are very serious in Annur. Illiteracy is also a major problem for the local population of Annur.

hey, the location of Annur is strategic. That's why it is faster developing than most other rural places nearby. It is located in between Coimbatore city and sathyamangalam on the junction of three very important roads, the NH 209 which connects Coimbatore to Bengaluru, Annur-Avinashi road as well as Annur-Mettupalayam road.

but, the area has some educational insitutions such as Sri Akila Vidhyalaya Matriculation School, Govt. Higher Secondary School, Government Municipality School, as well as Dogal College. And there are some hospitals and clinics here like SK clinic, Arjun Hospital, Shanti Medical Foundation Hospital, Sri Ram Hospital, and Jay Vishnu clinic.

Actually, though Annur is in some distance to the Coimbatore city, the area has a great connectivity to the city. the National Highway 209 passes throught Annur. Good public transportation system like public buses are available in Annur to Coimbatore city and other prominant places there.

yes, this is the same with the plots too actually. while it was Rs.275 for a square feet land in the 2013's second quarter, it became 205 by the third quarter. the maximum price per sq.ft was just Rs. 290. But actually, this is a good place for a long term investment, i think. Because, the land value will gradually increase as the city will expand in area.

more than apartments u will find more individual houses in Annur. the price of the land has a decreasing trend. For houses, it is just 778 rupees per square feet in the third quarter of 2013. that was 25% decrease in the price compared to the price in the 2nd quarter of 2013.

i don't think so. the land value has been depreciated because the land is not much sought after for residential purposes. only the localites are more. the IT professionals and all are just concentrated in the main part of the city. and more of these locals are also planning to move closer to the city.

hey, Annur is a very rural area in Coimbatore actually. It is almost 31 kilometers from the Coimbatore city. I think the locality is gradually developing due to the proximity of the town. But, for living there, its not so bad either you will also have basic facilities like water and electricity.

Yeah, its a suburb in Coimbatore district. I think you will find more plots there than you can find an apartment. ya, you will also find houses there. The region is very cheap actually, when you see it together with the proximity of Coimbatore city. you can get an apartment for just around rs. 1800/- only per sq. feet.
