Q: A builder is quoting a Super Built-up area of 1316 sq-ft and providing a carpet area of 842sq-ft ( 64% only). Is this percentage according to the current trends? The apartment is located near Varthur area.
I value the property based on the carpet, then I add the amenities, parking etc to comeup with the final number....don't calculate based on superbuilt up - because superbuilt up with out proper amenities doesn't make sense at all. Also check the undivided share of the property....this is a good indicator for evaluation of the property...All the best
