Current Super Builtup Area trends in Bangalore

Q: A builder is quoting a Super Built-up area of 1316 sq-ft and providing a carpet area of 842sq-ft ( 64% only). Is this percentage according to the current trends? The apartment is located near Varthur area.

Suzith - 64% superbuiltup is ridiculous!!!

I value the property based on the carpet, then I add the amenities, parking etc to comeup with the final number....don't calculate based on superbuilt up - because superbuilt up with out proper amenities doesn't make sense at all. Also check the undivided share of the property....this is a good indicator for evaluation of the property...All the best

Hi Vishnu, I have a property whose super built up area is 3694 sqft. How much will be the builder area for that apartment? How to calculate that?

Normally, CARPET AREA is around (70 to 80)% of SUPER BUILT UP AREA. But percentage varies from project to project and builder to builder.
