Q: Hai, as i am new to Perumbavoor, i need some help to know all the places in the locality like good schools, colleges, roads connectivity etc. Please let me know as i am clueless about this area. thanks a lot guys.
hey, i think this is quite reasonable given the facilities and amenities that you can avail in the city. Along with this transportation is also convenient. I came to know about the price of an induvidual house in this area. The price ranges from around 5 lakhs per cent to 10 lakhs per cent.
For international travel and all, this area is also very good option. You can see that the Cochin International Airport which is located at Nedumbassery is just 14 kilometres away from this small town. You will take just 20 to 25 minutes to reach there, because of the good roads.
Hey guys, I think the price of land in Perumbavoor is quite high in this area. you can see that there are some good development in this region, further increasing the demand as well as the cost of land here. Now I think, the cost of land here ranges from Rs. 2.3 lakhs per cent to Rs. 3 lakhs. per cent.
Hey, you know, the locality of perumbavoor has many industries and manufacturing units. I would like to mention some of the good industries in this region. Some of them, I would like to mention are Galaxy Plywoods, Ideal Timber Industries, Nila Timber Traders, South Indian Saw mill, Thukalil Estates, Katturukudiyil Timber mills, South Indian Logistics, Thukalil Warehouses, etc.
I think the public transport is one good advantage of this region. There are some KSRTC subdepot in Perumbavoor. Private bus services run into many new neighborhood towns. I also think that you can also get autorickshaws for small distances.
I think that there are some connectivity to other parts of the state, as well as across the states. I think the nearest railway station to this locality are the Angamaly railway station as well as the Aluva railway station.
Actually you know, this is one of the very popular areas here. The town lies between Angamaly and Muvattupuzha on the Main Central Road (MC). This road connects Thiruvananthapuram to Angamaly through the old Travancore part of Kerala. You know, the perumbavoor locality lies in the banks of the river Periyar and Muvattupuzha.
I think perumbavoor is also known for its agricultural town. It is Asia's Largest plywood industries. I think the trade of this region is primarily involved in commodities like rubber, pepper, ginger, turmeric, plantain, vegetables, coconut, nutmeg, cocoa, rice, arecanut, cloves, etc. Rest of the economy is shared by government and private sector and small industries.
I think Perumbavoor is one of the largest locality in Ernakulam District. It is one the North Eastern tip of the Greater Cochin area. It is the headquarters of Kunnathunad Taluk. I think there are some good industries in this area like wood industries and small-scale industries.
the entertainment facility of the Perumbavoor locality is also very notable, There are some good theatres, amphitheatres as well as auditoriums in this region. The EVM Cinema, Aashirvad Cinemas, Jyothi Theatre, Pushpa Theatre, Lucky theatre are some of the good theatres here. Moreover there are auditoriums like Appoos auditorium, NSS Auditorium, Fine arts auditorium, Samson auditorium, Seema Auditorium etc here.
the area is a full fledged area in my opinion, apart from the schools, colleges and the shopping centres, for the residents here and in nearby areas there are some very good hospitals in this region like Government Ayurveda Hospital, ESI dispensary, San Joe Hospital, Lakshmi Hospital, MV Joseph Memorial Hospital, Vithayayath Hospital, etc.
there are so many well known schools and other educational institutions in the area. The Marthoma College of Management and Technology is one of the famous institutions in kerala itself. along with this there are schools like St. Joseph's Convent Senior secondary school, bethseda school, Thandekadu Government High School, Vimala School, National School etc.
yeah..even the connectivity to the city of Kochi or the large town of Aluva is very easy from this part. For the residents, the locality has more than enough in this locality itself. there are many shopping outlets and complexes in this region including Samson towers, Municipal Shopping Complex, St. George Parvelikudy Super Market, Neha Shopping Mall, Moolans Mega Mart, Archies store and many other shopping centres.
oh, that's amazing, if you talk about the connectivity, the main central road and the aluva Munnar road can never be forgotten. these two roads intersect each other at Perumbavoor. the perumbavoor town is a very well developed town with a popular KSRTC bus stand that provides bus services to various parts of kerala.
hey, perumbavoor is a large residential and commercial locality. actually, it is a mix of commercial centres and residential area. some of the good localities for residence in Perumbavoor locality are Kanjirakkad, Chakkarakkattu, Vallom, Kandanthara, Vattakattupady, Allapra etc. i think its a very good place to live.
