Q: I need to commute everyday from Vennala to Kalamassery but I've heard about the pitiful road condition in the area. What have the municipal authorities done about the civic issues in Vennala?
Latest Answer: Oddly enough, the issue of the road is on disputed grounds. The Palachuvadu end of the road comes under the Thrikkakara Municipality and the Vennala end comes under the civic authorities. But both sides are not willing to do anything about this issue. How convenient. The road has been known to actually damage engines and motorists are quite pissed off with with the repair bills. But it seems a proposal worth Rs. 2.72 crore for the maintenance of the road has been forwarded for administrative sanction by the MLA. Hopefully the government will wake up from its slumber and take the initiative to fix such issues.

Q: Guys I recently heard about something that made me really happy. The startup village, has anyone heard about it? It seems a good prospect for real estate. Should I invest in property close to this place?
Latest Answer: The initial plan was to extend this technology innovation zone by an additional 1.25 lakh square feet. The 25,000 sq. ft is just a part of that. This construction had been started much earlier but due to a number of reasons it kept getting delayed. It's also got the Edapally waste disposal site which I'm not really boasting about but at least the waste is disposed somewhere! Finally there's a way to treat non biodegradable waste in this dumping ground. And don't worry about the metro rail project affecting the real estate negatively. This area has a lot of scope for appreciation rise and that's precisely what's going to happen :)
