Q: Moving to Hebbal to be closer to job. Im afraid that its completely barren and I wont get anything. Is that true? And is it easy to go to other parts of the city from here? Please inform
Hospitals are present by the plenty here, to be honest. You have the Bharath Cancer Hospital, of course. Also the River View Hospital, HMH Mission hospital and Asha Kiran. These are within the hebbal industrial area only. If you venture slightly outside there are many more actually, like ED Hospital, Chandrakala Hospital, and Priyadarshini General Hospital.
Connectivity is good. Buses are regular, plenty of bus stops here, like L&T bus stop, Charlie gate stop, Lakshmikanth temple stop, SPI stop and Bharath Hospital stop etc. You'll mostly find a number of those KSRTC operated buses here. Oh another thing. There is a fire station built here by Infosys. Thats another service you can depend on in case of fire emergencies.
Since the Infosys office is here, you'll find plenty of commercial shops like cafes, eateries etc around it. There is a cafe coffee day, I visit pretty often. You'll find a lot of engineering service providers here though. Dunno if that information is useful.
Ok despite what you might think, there are actually lots of small provision stores and grocery shops in Hebbal. So hardly ever will you have to venture out to get some household item. Note down these names - Trinethra Super Retail, Raghavendra Provision Store, Sri Balaji General Stores and Sujendra Provision store.
Your other query was that whether the connectivity is good or not. Well since the Ring Road passes through this place, I think that question answers itself. In fact it is also flanked by the KRS road on the left. So thats doubly advantageous
Yes it is a bit too industrial, but this industrial belt only has been pulling in so many people, that the place had to undergo some change, and that has happened. Its a lot more liveable now than it used to be.
