Locality Review of Nanjagud Highway of Mysore

Q: Ive decided to buy an apartment in the Astrum Grandview, which lies on the Nanjangud Highway. Ive looked into the apartment project and I like everything about it, but I realsied i dont know much about the surroundings. So im hoping some of you guys will be able to help me out with this. I bet you guys didnt know that there are not one, but TWO railway stations here. Yes, thats right, the Sujata Puram Halt railway station and the Nanjangud town railway station. so you will get good rail access as well.

Since the locality falls on such an important highway of Mysore, it has a number of state run buses plying through here. You can board them from most of these bus stops - Nanjangud bus stop, Nanjangud station bus stop, Nanjangud temple bus stop, and the Devaramannahalli bus station.

Plenty of hospitals here though. There is the Krishna hospital, nanjangud govt hospital, Susrutha ortho care, and ESI hospital, all within the locality. Smaller clinics are also here, like Nandu clinic or the Arogyashrama. So healthcare-wise you'll always be covered here.

commercially also, this place is doing good. Although not many major brand names are there, small shops and general stores are all over the place. Even there are some shopping complexes here, called the Govinda complex and Sapthagiri plaza.

I love how there are still some good eateries here, because we tend to eat out a lot. Our fav is the Food Bees restaurant. Otherwise you can also choose from Sri Vishnu Bhavan and Vasavi Cafe, which are also around here.

Ok so basically the Nanjangud highway is the part of the NH 212 that passes through the Nanjangud locality in Mysore district. The locality is well developed and well connected to the central parts of the city, by this highway only.
