Need info on Puliakulam locality in Coimbatore

Q: So I just found out today that Im being transferred to the Puliakulam branch of my bank. I think I should just move there, because anyways Im living in a rented flat in the other side of the city. But tell me a bit about the locality, and what kind of houses or apartments I should rent for myself.

There are some interesting residential projects here, like the existing Covai Madhuban apartments, Kavya Agri Enclave, Sri Sukktha Nakshatra, PAkshiraja apartments, as well as this one upcoming project that hasnt even been launched yet - LCS Solitaire. You can definitely find 1 or 2bhk apartments to rent around the standard monthly rates of Rs 10-12 per sq ft.

This locality is good, since its really close to both the airport and the railway station. Yeah the Coimbatore Railway Junction is just 4 km away from here, and the Coimbatore International Airport is only 11 km from Puliakulam.

I know you might actually be worrying about the more regular day-to-day things, like where to go grocery shopping. Well nothing to worry, there is a Nilgiris in this region on the NH67 and a Reliance Fresh also, right on the other side of the highway. Otherwise plenty of small grocery shops and general stores are scattered all over the place.

Take down this list of hospitals and clinics that are here - Coimbatore Kidney Centre, Shree Hospital, GEM Hospital, Welcare Healthy Living, Universal Medicare Centre. I dont know their contact infos, but you can easily find that out online. I suggest you keep these on your emergency contact.

I dont know if you have a family or not, but Im assuming you do. In that case, there are plenty of schools in this neighbourhood. For example, Vidya niketan junior school, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Carmel Garden stage school, KGMS Matriculation school, Alvernia Matric HS school, etc. There is even a Eurokids here.

We should also mention the SH 162, which is another solid connectivity infrastructure here and runs in a north-south direction through this place. On and not to forget the Pulikulam road, which practically connects this place to the adjoining locality of Sowripalayam.

The locality is pretty decent. Its got all the necessary amenities required for healthy living. Best thing is though, the awesome connectivity network here. I mean the Avinashi road passes right through the place, so thats definitely a plus point

Not just the Avinashi road dude, even the NH 67 makes its way through the south of this locality. You can take either the Avinashi road or the national highway to go deeper inside the city, as this locality is situated a bit towards the western extremities of Coimbatore.
